Status Updates From The Governess's Guide to Sp...

I hate to say it but I’m not a huge fan of this book. I have 3 complaints: I don’t like the writing style, there are repetitions and unnecessary narration; the magic elements are under explored so whimsy is undermined; the historical facts and era is extremely inaccurate and the atmosphere of the time period is not built well.
I like the characters individually, no chemistry between love interests.
