Status Updates From Raising Hare

I’m struggling to connect to Dalton and her re-introduction to the natural world in that she chose to take in the hare after consciously noting that it may be a bad idea. Despite her ability to raise the leveret and form an intensely rich relationship with it, I can’t help thinking to myself, She’s so lucky. She’s so lucky this baby hare didn’t die. And would she have written a book if it *had* died?
