B. Not loving how she always refers to her baby as having taken "a massive shit"

She is not very likable up until this point
I don't understand the purpose of this book

The astonishing revelations of caring for a baby felt shameful to claim as astonishing, or—honestly—as revelations at all.”

Just finished the first section, “Milk.” Her prose is beautiful and the way she talks about motherhood while also trying to remain a person outside of being a mother is incredibly relatable.
