I like this take on Medusa, of being frozen in time when you're at your most adoring and it being a positive thing, even if Medusa moves on.

I think most of this book is just meant to be a vehicle for queer commentary which is fine.

I don't love the writing style but there has been at least one funny scene. Unfortunately there has also been the narrative trope of just saying some "big bad" has happened that drove the characters apart and eh...
