Status Updates From Happiness and Love

Only 20 pages in and so far it’s just one, very long run on sentence.

Happiness and Love is at its best when the narrative swings between interior life and social performance. I especially loved the actress who rides into the dinner party like a cowboy, cutting through everyone’s bullshit and giving all that private anxiety a grand stage.

I liked the first 30 pages very much but it now feels a bit like chewing on a gum for too long.
