This book is The Little Mermaid. Retelling, it's about a pirate princess and a merman or as they call them Celestari. I am loving this book. So far. I am reading this book, so it will take me a while. It has no merit on how good we're not good this book is.

“And the Creator, He was speaking to me. My knees buckled. I fell, pressing my face against the glowing expanse, suddenly, agonizingly aware of my own unworthiness.” 😭😭😭😭
Oh that battle we have as humans. Feeling so unworthy, but so thankful He speaks to us even in that still small voice ❤️🙏🏻

Guys. Is it okay that I’m in tears over a clean fairytale for adults? 😭😭😭I hope so, because I am.
Thinking back to my own past- the brokenness and alcoholism I was buried in..
“‘Creator’, I prayed, filling my mind with praise for Him. ‘Thank You for this chance…. Thank You for saving my life.’….. i needed help, but I wasn’t sure what sort of help I needed. But He knew. He always did.”
