I didn't know what purple prose was until I read the reviews for this book, and boy, does this book have it in abundance. It almost feels like the author plugged the book into Chatgpt and instructed it to "make it more overwrought and say things with 50 words that could be said in 5".

I don't really want to read this after the last installment snooze fest, but I gotta see if there's some closure 😜
