What do you think you are doing? If you want to fight, fight against foul weather, disease, and all the other ills that hurt our animals again and again. When you hurt other islanders, you hurt yourselves. When you hate other animals, you injure yourselves. You twist your hearts and minds. Slowly, you kill yourselves. Put down your weapons and look at each other. You are all animals of this island.

Probably putting this one on hold until Spring Break… it’s too hard to find time to sit down and read physical copies of books atm.

So, ages ago I read the first five books to our daughters and we enjoyed the series. I didn't know this was out until I stumbled upon it in Goodreads. I thought I surely can't leave the series unfinished. I'll see if the girls want to pick it up again.
