Status Updates From Eating Ashes

Very sad and emotional. The writing was evocative and told of the events after immigration to what is supposed to be a better life. This book looked more at the ways things aren’t as expected and certainly happiness is not guaranteed. Very sad and moving but also somewhat depressing
