Has that been the most disappointing spicy scene I have read... ever? Maybe not, but it was pretty fucking disappointing

I like it so far which is a surprise... i dont usually like prickly characters, but so far, i like Rafe. He seems normal enough, not too perfect or too flawed, just a normal dude with an attitude problem. And I like that Gus is struggling cause i feel it's gonna be interesting to see how that progresses... im scared im gonna hate this book soon though, cause the writing is... something

Dnf- I am genuinely surprised and disappointed in the lack of relationship building between these two. How have we gone from "I can't stand him, he's the worst roommate ever" to having penetrative sex days later??? Sure, Gus has been sober, but only for a few DAYS and they have barely touched on why and how he's doing. They have had one real conversation about their families/background and so now it's all good??
