Status Updates From Ghoul

Don't love that this is having the child character unironically say "unaliver." Can't even fall back on realism of this being how the kids talk nowadays, this is supposed to be set in 2006. I was a kid then, we were saying "killers."

I’m a teen librarian and I try to read as many of the books I purchase for the YA collection that I can and this one already is bringing me to tears

Honestly, my suckish memory of book descriptions are really coming in handy right now.

"I promise."

Yeah...a promise this early in a story never turns out well.

if this weren’t a comedic book for children “cold blooded unaliver” would have had me dnfing immediately 😭😭
