As someone who hasn’t read Plath and doesn’t really like Swift, I was unsure what this was going to be like! Was very short, more like reading a substack than a book (63 very small pages). Interesting commentary on poetry and its historical relationship to hardship, celebrity, and artists opening themselves in order to create. Also great quotes from Plath and (randomly) Pema Chödrön? Enjoyed but am not raving?
