Status Updates From La persecuzione delle sorel...

I'm only 30 pages in so no judgment yet but the blurb calling this "the Crucible meets the Virgin Suicides" is killing me. Like the most random 2 books to put together...ooh yes this book is about some freaky girls and some other books with freaky girls are uh...the crucible (?) and uh... the virgin suicides? That's how I imagined they wrote this when they picked two titles out of their "books with creepy girls" hat.
