Status Updates From Outbreak: Kyle and Kelsey B...

CHILLS.
Agent McAdams chapter gave me goosebumps and anxiety, the perfect combo for the final stretch of the book.

“Even if our version of love was so incredibly screwed up.”

WELL THATS THE UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE CENTURY KELSEY. I still support it tho 😜

Ah FUCK. Agent McAdams just intensified everything.

Way to be a romance hater DUDE

No no no noooooo KELSEY STOP THINKING AND LEAN INTO IT

Literally 🍆😌

Sweating from the intense emotional connection rn.

I—- I can’t even fathom this revelation. All I know is my heart is broken for Kelsey, and I feel like this is my best friend talking. It’s so personal, so raw, and incredibly real how Kelsey is talking.

Halfway check in:

Literally in love with this. Fast paced but doesn’t feel like it. Relatable characters, niche details, and a well thought out story.
So far my only “complaint” is Kyle is too perfect 😂 He’s vulnerable, great at communicating, reliable, consistent, and protective of Kelsey. Like, girl copy and paste him for me please and thank you!

fr though my anxiety was stressing the last 10 pages and I finally felt SAFE AND OFC YOU CAPITALIZED ON IT

Side note: I’ve never been and sci-fi or true crime fan and now I’m invested deeply in this verse.

YOU HANNAH
YOU ARE LIKE PAPA🫵🏼🫵🏼🫵🏼🫵🏼🫵🏼

Reality check pause

It’s incredibly refreshing to read about a characters religious beliefs that 1) aren’t overwhelming and 2) passive aggressive or plain aggressive.

I think this was so beautifully written here. It’s a less than 5 sentence exchange involving it, with two people who have opposite end beliefs, and it was perfectly put.

HERE ME OUT——

What if the virus is making them get googly eyes for the other so they can replicate/spread?!?! In a new kind of sci-fi way, similar to how Lymes disease is maternally linked 😱😱

Good communicator? ✅
Has a great laugh? ✅ (I just know he does bc of the Elvis scene)
Bites his lip not in a creepy Edward Cullen way?✅✅✅

Kyle gives of DILF vibes but in the most innocent of ways…if that makes sense

Kelsey babe, JUMP HIM ALREADY

Listennnnn as a nurse myself, I don’t mess around with doctors or residents.

But Kyle?
✊🏼

Kelsey’s equivalent of stubbing her toe when everything else keeps going to shit 🤣🥲
Home girl is struggling

Author (unpublished still) to author — Hannah your use of suspension, conflict, pace, and foreshadowing is spot on IMO! It’s entertaining and intriguing. I noticed this specially when Kelsey noted XYZ (spoiler free) on paged 59/60

Ruh ro raggy 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

That’s it take my money Hannah. ✊🏼💵💵

Pride and prejudice IS THE classic. I will drop kick someone who says Romeo and Juliet. I WILL DO IT.

Kyle is the definition of “looks like a cinnamon roll, is a cinnamon roll”

Kelsey is hardcore a black cat baddie
