Ain’t no fucking way these assholes have “a hundred million” subscribers. This book is losing me FAST.

First of all, this CLEARLY takes inspiration from House of Leaves- at least in my opinion. However, despite how much I loved that book, idk if I’m so hot on this one so far.
The phone call from Thomas’s dad really took me out of it. It started and I immediately thought “this is gonna tell us his dad is an abuser” and…it did. It felt shoehorned and tacky.
