umm sometimes the figurative language is a bit much and I'm not sure i needed to know that the author's sexual awakening came about when they were dancing in their grandma's ostrich boa but the history is cool and neat and i like how he's using a materialist lens to explore how ostrich "farming" (i guess) increased immigration and land use in South Africa!
