I am not enjoying this at all

We just started the story and already banging. With someone we know nothing about in a place we know nothing about. How do we know what he says is true? Like her dying.

The word psychotic is being thrown around without anything psychotic happening. 💀.

I had to go back to ask if I read this correctly. She is 19.friends with a guy 17 years her senior. They know they're not for each other as 3 years ago they shared a drunk kiss. She'd be 16 he'd be 33... Uhm. But oh an additional line age has only ever been a problem for him not her. 💀

Couldnt finish. Had to dnf. The lack of world building made it hard to really imagine and theres no depth in most of the characters. Each character is already full of hatred for her nd acts the same or are just assholes bc they’re assholes. Ocean was my favorite character nd tht was only bc she was refreshing to read about in this book.

The plot gave us nothing. I knew not to trust walker the 37 year old man hanging out with a 19 yr old.
Elodie isn’t smart. Kael, Rion,and Thorne are boring mmcs.

Not really enjoying the book. It lacks too much world building so it makes it hard to envision.

Them loving country music does not at all fit the dark academia vibes. It's almost silly.

New KC Kean!! I love the roommate, Ocean. She’s been super entertaining. The guys all seem like dickbags so far. Hoping for growth. Can we have Walker back tho? He has been the most interesting so far. I am curious about Thorn though.
