I am a little past halfway through this book. It is cute and is dealing with hard topics for younger kids in a delicate way. I wish it would expand on how Ellie is coping and dealing with her parent's divorce a bit more, especially because this happens to a lot of kids these days. I'm glad it explores the way Ellie is grieving her gram and connecting with her through the work of conservation
