i do understand that my dissatisfaction with this book is that i had high expectations, but i just feel myself sighing whenever i feel like the author is choosing the more boring choice, either in prose or in plot. i don't think i would finish it if not for book club and i will be interested to see if other people felt the same or if it's just me

Natalia Nikolaevna starts showing more of her character in her choices after graduating from Vaganova, her ambition, focus and solitud form her into the ballerina she is, but more importantly it makes her question who she is. We start getting the answer to this quesiton until another mystery upsurges, and that is Dmitri. I'm so invested to see how this turns outtt
