I'm DNFing this book. I don't know if it was written by AI, but I don't like the writing style. It's overwritten with descriptions that don't make sense. It's also repetitive. I'm 42% of the way in and counted 24 sentences that have m-dashes.

I requested an arc of this months ago, before I heard about the AI stuff. I don't know a lot about the AI accusation, but I agreed to read and review on Netgalley so that's what I'm going to do. I'm reading a kindle version that was supposed to come out in May published by Orbit books.
