Ok so I do find it Interesting that the author openly speculates on Gayle's gender identity (trans? Gender fluid?) because of her online male identity, but doesn't contend with how Gayle always used a half Filipino man as her avatar and how that might also play into her Deeply Held Identity Beliefs. One is valid; the other is inherently suspect & invalid & has totally nothing to do with her identity. Why not?
