I’m halfway through this book, and I seriously don’t want to put it down! It is sooooo good! I will say, this is definitely my favorite book in the series so far, but it’s also the shortest one when it comes to page count. I’m already wishing it was longer because I don’t want it to end! The way that Mallory is handing grief, I completely understand.

Even though we already knew that Chris died, it was still hard for me to begin this book. I knew the story was going to focus on Chris’s funeral and his family grieving, but, I had to be in the right headspace. I definitely relate to Mallory. I tend to push my feelings down, and when someone close to me died, I didn’t cry either. So seeing Mallory deal with grief in her own way really resonated with me.
