Status Updates From Mr. Collins in Love

maybe it's just my copy, but this novel is in want of an editor or proofreader. between pages, one character bounces from Miss to Mrs and back to Miss again. a minor annoyance, but one that sticks out enough to irritate.

"Some people, I am told, find churches to be places of peace and succour. I had ever found them steeped in anxiety, for as a child I had often been punished for looking bored or not appearing to attend to the service, though in fact I had listened to every word. Now, of course, I must perform said service for persons who were judging me and likely finding me dull."

This novella is /lovely/. I never thought I'd feel compassion for Mr. Collins in a P&P world, but here I am, hand over heart.
