Pittsburg was mentioned 136x in the book. I counted!

This seems more like a memoir than what was marketed. (I don’t care about Pittsburgh!) The third chapter wasn’t as good as the second, and it was too long. I prefer chapters < 1h15m. The senior companionship stories are good, but the author struggles to live in the moment; she excessively ruminates on the superficial quality of her relationships.

I was besides myself to receive an ARC from Flatiron; I’d entered a giveaway for this on Goodreads as well. Still hoping to win a copy— one belongs on the bookshelf at the nursing home I work at. I’m annotating a lot. More detailed review to come.

Advance Reader's Edition: It definitely needs some editing/ tightening up, but its interesting overall. Its also more personal that the blurb may suggest.
