Chpt 8 jus gave me whiplash 🥴 like it was a whole new attempt to the story. Reintroducing the best friend like we hadn’t already had that exact interaction a few days ago. And then the complete 180 on the MMC like he’s all cuddles and sunshine and not the brooding grump 😑🙁
