I’m going to finish this book because I can’t not … but it is trying me

Can we talk about how this plot is repeatedly moved forward by a previously unnamed character running onto the scene, sharing relevant information, and then being killed only to never come up again?

I’m not so much reading this book as much as I am being subjected to it. I think the worst part is these characters could have been incredible if they were in literally any other book.

I’m so bored oh my god I’m so disappointed I hope it gets better
