Daniel Polansky is turning out to be one of my favorite authors. His style is unsurpassed! This is a 5/5, review coming asap!

I loved Polansky's "The Builders" so I thought I'd give this short a try and see if can get into The Low Town series as well. And what can I say: I am already sold. It's dark, mean and gritty. Just the way I like it...;o)

Common wisdom affirms against the drinking of whiskey during daylight hours, and while I can see the merits of the argument, it is not one to which I hold.

Great stuff. Love returning to Low Town at any opportunity.
