Status Updates From The Weight of Glass

so far, i'm not getting the hate this book receives... idk but the prose is readable and the plot seems interesting (plsplspls don't prove me wrong and give me a reason to hate on a fellow canadian, tamara miller ❤︎)

I'm enjoying the story so far, but I've now read three chapters from Grace's POV set in 1996 and in every one of these chapters there have been name mix-ups calling her Jaden (who is the present day POV character and hasn't even been born yet in 1996). You could make a drinking game out of it! It's a little distracting. (I'm reading an ARC, so I hope this error will get fixed before publication.)

I’m really enjoying this arc. It’s not a final copy so some names and things are in the wrong the places.
2 things against it so far tho….
1. TRYING WAY TOOOO HARD with the descriptors. Please, for the love of all things, but the thesaurus down. It’s truly okay to just say… the phone rang.
2. My only access to this ARC is via my phone. Reading on this makes it hard to focus with all the extra words
