Status Updates From Negroland

Had this on my nightstand as an option for LitHub’s summer reading challenge and decided, after reading Linden Hills, that it would be hella interesting to read directly after and in conversation with Naylor. I honestly wish I was being forced to write a paper doing so, if just for my own retention and processing, but alas, that ship has passed.

Gave up listening to this.
It’s not a personal memoirs, but a societal memoirs that covers vast areas of MJ’s personal experience.
Wasn’t what I expected.
