I feel like this should either be a sweet reconciliation of two step-siblings or a straight-up rom-com of two people who were sort-of related by marriage a very long time ago but it’s trying to weirdly straddle the line between both. Not sure I’m keen.
Don’t mention the dream of a “protective older brother” figure in the same breath as how you want to dive into the depths of his green eyes. It’s weird.
