health care is health care -- i rediscovered one of my favorite aspects of hospital medicine: no matter your politics, no matter your beliefs, we care for patients equally and without judgement -- identities shed themselves when people are forced to remove when they are admitted; we meet each other in gowns and scrubs, expressing similar pains, fears and questions.

i am proficient is english, farci and spanish (for me english, hebrew and conversational spanish) but the most efficient language i speak is doctor. beginning of medical school and then through immersion and residency, we adopt the tongue of those before us and indoctrinate those that come after us with the fluency of pseudonyms and abbreviations- those few words of hers are all I need here...
