Status Updates From The Library at Hellebore

I'm not yearning for the spider monster by any means but also. she showed up and is now gone. what happened.

Really disappointed in my progress today. There are a couple things about the worldbuilding and character's backstories that are confusing me. Also, I am finding the constant switching between timelines a bit jarring, but I want to keep reading to find out what happens. It's like getting blue-balled for every plot I want to watch develop, as it immediately switches to the other timeframe when things get interesting.

I am really enjoying the book thus far even if not all of the gore/body horror is not necessarily my cup of tea, I am really enjoying gradually learning more about these characters and their pasta and abilities!

Okay, am I just not paying much attention or is there very little plot here?

i am very intrigued by the premise so far, very suspenseful opening, so I cannot wait to read more!

Trying really hard not to DNF this one. It feels like a lot of rambling nonsense I need to bust out the thesaurus for, is it worth it to keep going? 50 pages in and have NO IDEA what’s going on, feeling a little bored. Is it just me? Am I trippin??
