Status Updates From Bloom: The Kaleidoscope Alb...

I've been stuck here for like two days, I've read (barely) a page per day. Why? I know what's going to happen but I refuse to go thru that a third time.. in a row.

In not sure if the author is forcing a conflict because that's 'what happens in romanes' or if the conflict is 'natural'. Part of the problem is that neither character is acting like themselves, & while the reactions of one somewhat 'works', the reaction of the other is not even comprehensible. Probably out of character but, agsin, I do not under their reaction.
