I wanted to like the book however the editing or lack thereof created a read that was choppy and left me confused as a reader. Although this is described as the first in the series, there are too many moments that had me thinking I had missed book 1 where I would know more about our main character. I had to DNF at 60% because I was tired of feeling lost.
