Well I've got to call it a night here, but it definitely has given me food for thought but thankfully our portfolio is diversified.
can't really think of a whole lot to do with it , maybe acquire some ASML and TSMC?!? but maybe that's just me knowing tech better than almost any sector. my late father worked in the industry and passed on a lot of knowledge.

there was no massive rise in governent spending that could attribute the 70s stagflation to keynesian spending. In fact if anything the government cut back and engaged in fiscal restraint. austerity is a miserable failure.

I recently left a message with our Advisor asking for clarification though as I'm not certain if we're buying Treasury Bills or Corporate bonds. Still, I've changed. Last october or so I bought Intel stock noting it was way down there was blood in the streets and headlines were slowly suggesting a turnaround.- Turns out I was correct and have been rewarded handsomely for it.

How Trump doesn't understand why his approval is falling is simple. Trump sees that's he's successfully implementing his agenda, so he doesn't get it, but in reality most Americans hate his agenda when they see it actually play out or are adversely impacted by it so they despise it so the more he gets done the more unpopular he becomes. it's a Trap. if POTUS simply froze up and did nothing his approval would rise.

We're buying Bonds currently because of the High price of oil and the rotation out of Tech and into Oil. We expect oil prices to remain high for a while but high prices not to last forever. Likely longer than desired or expected. But Foreign policy will change under the next administration in all likelihood. Trump's approval is in the toilet and sinking. He doesn't get it either.

A little stunned at the amount of silliness and pitfalls covered here.
