This book is making me want to reread London Fields, which is perhaps the worst outcome from a reading experience

It turns out, when you read this book with sustained effort and focus, it is fucking awesome.

Progressively losing attention

This book is due in 2 days. I can do this.

“Spoke to his dog in Irish, and only Irish, for reasons I never knew and never thought to ask because we had all the time in the world to get to know each other—we who could talk without speaking, who shared beds with our boots on and knew each other’s dreams” I am going to throw up everywhere.

Some of these chapters have me laughing out loud. Irish people are so funny
