Status Updates From NIrV, Holy Bible

I’ve begun reading this Bible version. I’m seeing references to it being a beginner’s Bible, but this isn’t that one. No illustrations but slightly larger print. Definitely easier to read than the KJV, my usual Bible. I love how the poetry is written in verse form. That helps me make the mental shift from prose to poetry. I love that it incorporates a timeline and a lengthy preamble to understand the format.

Reading the Bible with dad and we started with Genesis and Matthew. We are jumping back and forth to from stories so not sure what page we’re on! It’a definitely a wonderful book because it s about our savior
