Status Updates From Until LA

That’s rare.” Yes our special boy is very special and not at all like other boys. So special that this weathered LA taxi driver is taking him on a tour of the city FOR FREE on his day off. Sure, sure

“The ocean doesn’t care about your problems, your plans, your whole existence. It was here before you, it’ll be here after. Puts things in perspective.” Wow how deep I've never heard this before. It's a pity how the author is ruining her witty writing with flat characters and trite "wisdom."

OKay so this is an interesting story about a ridiculously tall Dutch guy travelling to LA on his own with a ridiculously supportive family and friends who clearly love him. It feels like a fanfiction but the good kind. So far its got the makings of what makes home home, but it packs that good old curiosity- what would it feel like to travel. As an epileptic who's struggling to get a passport... I like it.
