Fascinated, intrigued, sometimes in awe, and at times very confused. I read about 20 pages and had to start from the beginning because I wasn't focused enough for this type of narrative, but what a brilliant book it is turning out to be!

Al principi no entenia exactament què estava passant. Finalment s’ha convertit en un dels millors llibres que he llegit: cacics, guerra, amor, classes socials i un món dels morts fantásticament montant. Un retrat fantástic del mèxic de l’època.
