so far this feels like a crossover between two very different books, one is a urban fantasy/horror book and the other a sci-fi book, and i don't know how i feel about it

i cant help but feel this whole book takes inspiration from undertale. needing 7 souls to free yourself, seemingly the souls of young people specifically. already having 6 and just needing that last one. but that last soul is unexpectedly difficult to obtain because the person is pure-hearted and deserves better. sounds like undertale lmao
