I'm not as thrown off by the 2nd POV after already reading one before, but it's an interesting choice!

I'm also getting flashbacks to all the weddings I've attended, they're exactly this minus the supernatural elements 😂

Just finished the prologue and, as a Filipino author, I love how this was written so far. No Filipino words/terms in italics, no explanations/definitions for them either; you can look them up, if you want. The Filipino word thrown in as part of a sentence, the way we used to talk back home. The pop culture references. I used to be scared of writing this way but now 👀
