Status Updates From The Maltese Version

I’m noticing that Smith likes to write in “parallel story lines”; an interminable conversation between characters however past or present. I am intrigued by this. 🤔🤔🤔

As ever, I enjoy Smith’s writing immensely. I find I am much more caught up in her style and prose rather than her plot lines. She is the epitome of “showing”, not “telling, and it is a showing of remarkable beauty.
