Well, that was interesting... but had an unfortunate number of similarities to the third story. Clones, cyborgs, planet-shaping, murder mystery, Gentian/Quentiam.

A curious if abbreviated story of clones and cyborgs. Am wondering what this anthology holds in store next?

Well that was a weird second novella. Six sentient races evolved on Earth after Humans. Working on an archaeological expedition. Love entanglements and confusion over betrayal. Wild assertions. Hidden conversations. I don't think I'll ever understand what was really going on in that one.

Curious first novella. A bit obscure - makes you unravel the mystery and even then you're never quite sure. I think we're on a colonised planet coreward of Sol where a crash landing happened. The planet's supercontinent on the tidally locked day side seems to be dying and cratons breaking off, and no one knows if they're going to survive. Interesting.

First novella; "Good Mountain" proving intriguing thus far. Continental movements and strange plants abound, but no idea if this is on Earth or some other planet.

Pretty excited for this. A new book but in the style of classic sci-fi anthologies collecting together novellas based around classic sci-fi tropes - in this case, One Million AD.
