I give up. This has been a whole lot of Peter Pan syndrome and miscommunication; I only liked one character and wanted the backstory but it’s just not enough. She can no longer carry the whole book and I’m not wasting more time on this.

Note to self: in the future, avoid all books featuring a Vegas trip.

I need a hibernation period. I have read too many intense emotional books too close together. Obv I should’ve known this would be a lot cause it’s a seperated married couple so this is on me but I am exhausted. I need a low stakes hiccup/astrid established couple type fantasy situation asap. Too many emotions are happening. Send help.
