Im fully engrossed! This book has hooked me from the beginning. I can’t seem to put it down.

I like this plot twist

“Sometimes Maris wishes
her mother could just go all in
and leave.
A physical absence
to match the mental one.

She doesn’t hit Maris.
Doesn’t abuse her. She’s just—

Damn that really sucks

matter when

Oh no

I didn't realize this was novel in verse. Let's go

Had no idea this whole thing is in verse. We'll see if I can stick it out
