I think HE is the devil. Who, if correct, is timeless; so, OF COURSE the heroine is a child to him.

I thought this would be another gothic novel from the 70s, but I’m at chapter 3 AND I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS! So far, pleasantly surprised.
