i’m having a hard time staying inspired to read this. every page and every scene is constantly broken up by flowery descriptions of the surroundings. it’s hard to feel “in” any scene or connect with characters because we have to stop everything to describe the colors of every flower in sight, or jump into another memory in the middle of a conversation.

“Beautiful, isn’t it?” Briar whispered, looking at the sky.
“Yes,” Corin replied, looking at her.”
