Status Updates From Radiomen

This novel is a ROMP. "..And with it came wandering back all the wild recklessness I had drummed out of myself over the years in order to get some control of my life; that, too, was now making a case for its right of return." (Laurie's life was already pretty tough--surviving as an airport bartender on the night shift--but then she knocked right up against Lerman's dark side of a "fictionalized" cult. Awesome!

Very intriguing story, so far.

There are aliens in this book and yet the protagonist's main problem right now is paperwork. Everything is exposition and I am very bored.

This book has a serious case of 'aloof and unimpressed narrator' that is definitely dragging down the action, but some of the imagery in this is extra spooky and interesting

So far I've felt like this had given away far too much too soon, which is making the action that's going on now way less interesting than it could be.

A slow narrative start is drawing me into a story that I can't stop thinking about.

So far, it's a little creepy and unusual.
