Status Updates From Reaper's Bend

this book is so long for no reason the the longer i spend reading the angrier i’m getting. i’m so frustrated with this book. i’m so immensely bored with it. i hate the characters. the writing is sloppy. the immersion breaks all the time. i’m speed reading at this point.

i’m just skimming/speedreading at this point and. i’m not missing details doing so, i don’t think. it’s so many words saying absolutely little. i’m not trying to be cruel because i adore jonah as a person/creator but i think the positive reviews are glazing a little too hard. maybe they’re being honest. reading is subjective. but. ahhhhh. i really wanna dnf but im already behind my reading goal 😔

i am unfortunately getting the sinking feeling of wanting to dnf this 😭

now why did he heal in like half a chapter can we slow down

lowkey this book is very predictable. not deal breaking though.
