How the flying frak can you expect this arrangement to work?! Zayne is a hyper pacifist attached to a freakin' warship!!! It's not pretty but war isn't about smacking each other's wrists. PEOPLE ARE GOING TO DIE. I don't see how War!Zayne could do this. This was awful and stupid and awfully stupid.

Wouldn't that explosion have KILLED people, Zayne? So much for your extremist pacifism...

I am sooooooo glad that lame trick didn't work. "I got orders but you didn't - listen to them on this holocube far away from me so I can run away!!" But how did Zayne get the armor? Didn't that guy evacuate?

I can't help but kinda side with Dorjander Kace here. The Jedi shouldn't be indentured to any government. That said, his kidnapping the children - when they have no choice to whether they even want to be Mandalorians - is wrong. But that action feels so un-Mandalorian...this whole volume is effed up.

1) Kra'ake is a moron who needs to have leadership privileges pulled. 2) I am going to break my brain trying to follow the logic of this story. 3) I'm down with Mandalorians rescuing children of their foes, but it's weird that they somehow can force their prisoners to fight - and their prisoners DON'T turn their blasters on their Mandalorian overlords.

ACK! I can't tell who these people are in the panels - is that Ko or her son and why does he have fur and is she Devaronian and if so why does SHE have fur???

So this Mandalorian stuff makes no sense. Now they want to indoctrinate the Republic to become warrior nomads?! Wasn't their goal just to be left alone?! And Zayne has a large family? When??

This feels completely different from all the other volumes of KOTOR. Zayne's weird monologue, his character shift, even the Mandalorians (it seems weird they'd take recruits and suit them up - isn't the suit a big deal to them? Don't they only take volunteers?). And the art is absolutely awful. Vomit.

What's with this big pacifism stance of Zayne's? I get not wanting to needlessly kill, but this level seems extraordinary, even given his growth in the previous volumes.

Something here just doesn't feel right. This just doesn't feel like Zayne. It's as if there's a different writer - except it's still JJM on the script, same as ever.

Am I really almost at the end? :'(

I hate to say it but I feel, uncomfortably, like Zayne isn't being himself. Since when was he a pacifist? It's true he killed very infrequently beofre - mainly because he was a lone Padawan on the run from the law against overwhelming odds - but he never shied away from the idea of combat against the Mandlorians. Here he's saying stuff that seems so out of character, it's weird.

This time Morvis is an idiot. Tibanna Six might be faster, but you're trying to retake a planet where people live. You don't want to fucking salt the earth you're going to plant in, you idiot. Use of tibanna six would have long-term consequences that are not worth it. *facepalm* No wonder these people look to Revan's strategic and tactical brilliance with worshipful awe.
